Nigeria - Death of a British and an Italian national (12 March 2012)


PARIS, March 12 2012/African Press Organization (APO) / - Alain Juppé, Minister of State, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, expressed in two letters addressed today to the British and Italian counterparts, the emotion of France following the murder of two of their nationals in Nigeria Thursday, March 8.

He urged them to pass the victims' families his condolences on behalf of France.

This drama illustrates again the need for collective action and determined to fight against terrorism in all its forms.

Italy and Britain in a Row Over Hostage Raid




The Italian government says it wasn't informed about Britain's failed rescue attempt in Nigeria. British and Italian hostages died in the raid.
