Only Hillary Clinton Can Beat John McCain

Senator Hillary Clinton BILL CLINTON: I believe those are the three reasons you ought to be for her: She'd be the best for the veterans, she'd be the best commander in chief, and she would certainly be the best at managing this economy. And finally, according to the evidence today, she's also the most electable. She's running ahead of Senator McCain in Ohio; her opponent's running behind. She is ahead in Florida and Arkansas, a state that voted for me twice, 'cause I was the governor -- they sort of had to, I guess -- and voted for President Carter once. They haven't voted for another Democrat in 44 years. This week's survey in Arkansas: Senator McCain is leading Hillary's opponent by 16 points; Hillary's leading him by 15 points. So she can win this election. And, and, we need to change the direction of this country. But it won't be an easy race. John McCain is an...

The Truth About Super Delegates and the Barack Obama Spin

Dear Orikinla, You've probably seen some of the news about the delegates it will take to win the Democratic nomination, including discussions about pledged delegates and automatic delegates, or so-called "super delegates." Senator Obama has aggressively courted automatic delegates, while his campaign has simultaneously tried to discount their role in t...

Hillary Clinton Should Not Give Up

Wow! Senator Barack Obama's spectacular primary victories in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia have confirmed that he is the New Face of American Democracy. I cannot deny the fact that the best case scenario for the Democratic Party, is having Senator Barack Obama as the presidential nominee. I am disappointed that Senator Hillary Clinton is behaving like a bad loser. She would be more regarded if she could swallow her pride and congratulate Senator Barack Obama. The tides of these interesting times favour Barack Obama. I am still supporting Hillary Clinton for President. For better or worse, do not give up hope. I know that Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton is scared after Senator Barack Obama's clean sweep of the Potomac primaries . As one of her HillRaisers, I am worried, because none of us expected the latest results. If Hillary Clinton wins the nomination, it would be a miracle. As I said on the Huffington Post that if Hillary Clinton will not give up, I will c...
