Election 2008: The People's Choice?

28 Apr 2008 13:05 Africa/Lagos Election 2008: The People's Choice? Suspicious voting strategy, according to YourThreeCents.com NEW YORK, April 28 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- There is evidence to suggest that during this election year, the Republicans are backing Barack Obama as the Democratic nominee in order to seal the Presidential spot for John McCain. Tegan Miller: "It appears that the Republicans are creating a strong influence through a well-coordinated marketing media and financial support program. They are targeting these efforts to the Republican Right and Christian youth movements within the Republican Party. They are artfully using the Conservative press, media and youthful leadership to influence voters to cast their vote to elect Barack Obama in open Democratic primaries." Christian Karnes: "Obama has had only 3 victories out of the 27 contests that have come from closed primaries. The other 24 victories were either open elections or caucuses. Obam...

Re: Goodbye to All That: Why Obama Matters Andrew Sullivan's analysis of the personality and presidential candidacy of Senator Barack Hussein Obama in "Goodbye to All That: Why Obama Matters" needs to be revised in view of the latest developments in the presidential campaign of Barack Obama and the issues raised in Hilary Rosen's "I Am Not for Hillary Because She is a Woman - it's Because I Am" posted on the Huffington Post . The political metamorphosis of Barack Obama has been defined by the foreign policy crisis of America. But should the opposition to the war in Iraq be the only justification for Barack Obama's presidential ambition? Is the war in Iraq the only reason to accept or reject a presidential candidate or the proven ability for the global leadership of the United States of America in the 21st century? The romantic argument for the election of Barack Obama is idealistic, but not realistic. The case for Barack Obama has no sustainable lo...

What I Think of Barack Obama's Political Oratory

I read a reference on a blogger's commentary on Senator Barack Obama's political oratory on Presidential election 2008 |Republicans Vs. Democrats and I have to comment on it. There is nothing new in the hype over the romantic rhetoric of Barack Obama's political impressionism. He has very good speech writers who have a good collection of quotes and know how best to paraphrase them. Did you not notice the glaring contrasts in the character of Barack Obama at the debates and when making his rehearsed victory speeches in Iowa and South Carolina? "Politicians of the new generation are carefully coached by their spin doctors to produce on-demand sound bites which are clear and to the point." Wikipedia
