TechCrunch Bans AP News and Stories

In a swift reaction to the crack down on bloggers by the Associated Press , TechCrunch has banned all links to AP news and stories . So here’s our new policy on A.P. stories: they don’t exist. We don’t see them, we don’t quote them, we don’t link to them. They’re banned until they abandon this new strategy, and I encourage others to do the same until they back down from these ridiculous attempts to stop the spread of information around the Internet. ~ Michael Arrington I was one of the first bloggers to react to the decison of the Associated Press on the Huffington Post yesterday. The following is the full text of my comment. Bloggers should ask for permission before using copyrighted news materials or they should register to use syndicated news and features. When I blog what I have read on the Huffington Post, I simply link to the title and address it with my own original content. Re: Obama's Struggle With Typical Liberal Hypocrisy

This is my comment on John Ridley 's Obama's Struggle With Typical Liberal Hypocrisy Political hypocrisy plagues American democracy. Barack Obama cannot please everybody. If Obama fails to win the nomination and the presidential election, the so-called American Liberals will be the Judas of his betrayal. What has made Barack Obama so successful so far is not his animated amplification of the politiical sound bites of his political spin doctors, but the big budget of his sponsors who used their mainstream media and proxies in the social network sites to launch their vicious campaign of calumny against the Clintons and maligned them so badly that they have done more harm than good to the Democratic Party in the long run of the presidential campaign. If the Clintons and their millions of supporters turn against Barack Obama and his sponsors in the presidential election, do not blame the Clintons. Most of those endorsing Barack Obama are doing so to spite the Clintons and have not ...

The American News Media Must Not Mislead the American People

American journalists are not getting better, but worse. Blogs and YouTube are even more trustworthy and spot on than the Main Stream Media(MSM). There is nothing new to know about Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. Most of the reports on them are from the recycle bin. The American news media had the chance to promote the anti-war protests to end the war in Iraq, but the chance was abandoned to sensationalize the American presidential campaign. If only you can publish the cover story of every American soldier killed in Iraq and propel the motion to impeach President George W. Bush, Americans will be happier and merrier. If Bill Clinton was impeached for his private sex life, then George W. Bush should have been impeached for misleading America into a suicidal war in Iraq. It is not too late for the American news media to launch the "IMPEACH PRESIDENT GEORGE W. BUSH!" campaign before the presidential election, except you want the GOP to remain in power in 2009. The number one pr...
