President Bush to Russia: Honor Georgia Cease-fire

16 Aug 2008 15:06 Africa/Lagos Radio Address of President Bush to the Nation WASHINGTON, Aug. 16 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The following is a transcript of the weekly radio address by President Bush: THE PRESIDENT: Good morning. For more than a week, the people of the nation of Georgia have withstood assault from the Russian military. The world has watched with alarm as Russia invaded a sovereign neighboring state and threatened a democratic government elected by its people. This act is completely unacceptable to the free nations of the world. The United States and our allies stand with the people of Georgia and their democratically elected government. We insist that Georgia's sovereignty and territorial integrity be respected. And Moscow must honor its pledge to withdraw its invading forces from all Georgian territory. Earlier this week I directed a series of steps to demonstrate America's solidarity with the Georgian people and to help bring about a peaceful resolutio...

President George W. Bush Radio Address On the High Cost of Gasoline

President George W. Bush at the White House on Friday June 20, 2008. 21 Jun 2008 15:06 Africa/Lagos Radio Address by President Bush to the Nation President's Radio Address Audio En Español WASHINGTON, June 21 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The following transcript was released today by the White House Press Office: THE PRESIDENT: Good morning. Americans are concerned about the high price of gasoline. Everyone who commutes to work, purchases food, ships a product, or takes a family vacation feels the burden of higher prices at the pump. And families across our country are looking to Washington for a response. The fundamental problem behind high gas prices is that the supply of oil has not kept up with the rising demand across the world. One obvious solution is for America to increase our domestic oil production. So my Administration has repeatedly called on Congress to open access to new oil exploration here in the United States. Unfortunately, Democrats on Capitol Hill have reje...

Re: Former Bush Aide: McClellan Is Getting Ripped For Telling The Truth

This is my rejoinder to the report on Former Bush Aide: McClellan Is Getting Ripped For Telling The Truth posted on Huffington Post . Any dummy can write a book on how President George W. Bush and his goons lied and misled America into one of the dumbest wars in history. The Downing Street Memo and Ambassador Joseph C. Wilson have already shown us the facts, so any dummy writing another book on it is only desperate to fish in the troubled waters and make money from the political Fiasco of Dubya. Writing best selling books on the falsehood of the mission to Iraq is medicine after death. If President George W. Bush had been impeached in 2005, thousands of American soldiers would have been saved from dying in the war in Iraq. In fact, I condemn all the office holders in the American government for misleading America into a wrong war in Iraq. From the messenger who filed the classified lies of the Weapons of Mass Destruction to the President who told the lies, they are all guilty. A...

Before You Hang President George W. Bush...

Image
One of my favorite segments in Arianna Huffington's new book, "Right is Wrong" , is timed perfectly to the latest polling news: That George W. Bush has officially been crowned the most unpopular president in modern history, with a disapproval rating over 70%. So let's return to her take on the now-infamous Bill Kristol op-ed in The Washington Post last July in which he promised that Bush would end up a "winner." Arianna calls it "the single most deceptive story of the entire war." One wonders if it was actually written by Billy Crystal, not Bill Kristol. ~ Greg Mitchell in Arianna's New Book Cuts Kristol! President George W. Bush may be the most unpopular president in the modern history of America, but not in the world. The most unpopular president in the world today is President Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe, with a disapproval rating of over 80%. The former president of Nigeria, Chief "the thief" Olusegun Aremu Okikiola Matthew Obasan...

The World's 10 Most Wanted Fugitives and YouTube - CIA Leak Case of the FBI Most Wanted Terrorists Bank.

I wanted to post the list of The World's 10 Most Wanted Fugitives , but I changed my mind, because it is not news. The information on the most wanted fugitives in the world is all over the Internet. Osama bin Laden is top on the list and on the most wanted list of the FBI and CIA. But it is a list made up by America and I wonder if President Geroge W. Bush is better than these fugiitives, because I am sure that he is also on the most wanted list of Islamic fundamentalists for the American catastrophe in Iraq. Here is how I am going to wrap up my own point of view with this YouTube - CIA Leak Case of the FBI Most Wanted Terrorists Bank.

The American News Media Must Not Mislead the American People

American journalists are not getting better, but worse. Blogs and YouTube are even more trustworthy and spot on than the Main Stream Media(MSM). There is nothing new to know about Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. Most of the reports on them are from the recycle bin. The American news media had the chance to promote the anti-war protests to end the war in Iraq, but the chance was abandoned to sensationalize the American presidential campaign. If only you can publish the cover story of every American soldier killed in Iraq and propel the motion to impeach President George W. Bush, Americans will be happier and merrier. If Bill Clinton was impeached for his private sex life, then George W. Bush should have been impeached for misleading America into a suicidal war in Iraq. It is not too late for the American news media to launch the "IMPEACH PRESIDENT GEORGE W. BUSH!" campaign before the presidential election, except you want the GOP to remain in power in 2009. The number one pr...

So? ... A Note from Michael Moore

Image
So? ... A Note from Michael Moore Monday, March 24th, 2008 Friends, It would have to happen on Easter Sunday, wouldn't it, that the 4,000th American soldier would die in Iraq. Play me that crazy preacher again, will you, about how maybe God, in all his infinite wisdom, may not exactly be blessing America these days. Is anyone surprised? 4,000 dead. Unofficial estimates are that there may be up to 100,000 wounded, injured, or mentally ruined by this war. And there could be up to a million Iraqi dead. We will pay the consequences of this for a long, long time. God will keep blessing America. And where is Darth Vader in all this? A reporter from ABC News this week told Dick Cheney, in regards to Iraq, "two-thirds of Americans say it's not worth fighting." Cheney cut her off with a one word answer: "So?" "So?" As in, "So what?" As in, "F*** you. I could care less." I would like every American to see Cheney flip the virtual bird at t...

Howard Dean Discusses Democratic Race, Primaries and John McCain on Sunday Shows

9 Mar 2008 17:41 Africa/Lagos Howard Dean Discusses Democratic Race, Primaries and John McCain on Sunday Shows WASHINGTON, March 9 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean this morning discussed the Democratic race, his hope that Florida and Michigan delegates will be seated at the convention according to party rules, the Democratic win in this weekend's special election in Illinois, and the third Bush term promised by Senator John McCain. The following are excerpts from Dean's appearances on CBS's Face the Nation with Bob Schieffer and ABC's This Week with George Stephanopoulos: ON SENATOR MCCAIN: "We're going to beat John McCain. He's totally unsuited at this particular time to be president. He's wrong on the war in Iraq, wrong on the economy, wrong on health care." [ABC's This Week with George Stephanopoulos, 3/9/08] ON KEEPING THE PARTY UNITED: "We will beat John McCain if we're united a...

Samantha Power Quits

I thank God Samantha Power, resigned with apologies and regrets for her terrible utterances against Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton . Samantha Power is brilliant without doubt. But you cannot blame Bill Clinton for the Rwandan Genocide as you cannot blame President George W. Bush for the the genocide in Darfur happening before our very eyes. I am 100% Black African who is committed to the efforts to end the Darfur Crisis and communicated with the former UN Special Envoy to Sudan, Jan Pronk and my own insider in Darfur on how to stop the massacre of innocent people in Darfur. But the Sudanese government and the rebels have continued to pour fuel in the fire of the conflict in Darfur and they are both guilty of the genocide. The African Union and the UN are guiltier than the former President Bill Clinton on the Rwandan Genocide. I do not think there is anything Bill Clinton would have done to stop the genocide in the hellish circumstances if the UN failed to do so. America cannot ...

McCain Myth Buster: John McCain and George W. Bush

President George W. Bush and Senator John McCain 5 Mar 2008 19:24 Africa/Lagos McCain Myth Buster: John McCain and George W. Bush Today's McCain Myth: John McCain offers new ideas instead of more of the same on the issues voters care most about: the economy, Iraq, and health care WASHINGTON, March 5 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- On the campaign trail, John McCain has tried to paint himself as an Independent "maverick" who has broken ranks with the Republican Party on a number of occasions. But his record reveals that on issue after issue, a vote for McCain is a vote for a continuation of the same failed Bush policies that have been disastrous for America. When it comes to economic issues, McCain has pledged to make Bush's budget-busting tax cuts for the wealthy permanent, refused to denounce Bush's threat to veto a bill that would help families and communities affected by the mortgage crisis, supported Bush's veto of children's health care and has pr...

American Democrats Must Stop Fooling Themselves

Image
Senator Hillary Clinton From what I have been reading on the American presidential campaign so far, I am afraid to say that the traumatic political administration of President George W. Bush has done great damage to the political psyche of most Americans. The Democrats are more confused than the Republicans. In fact, President George W. Bush is having a good rapport with the Democrats in Congress and still calling the shots on the prosecution of the war in Iraq. The Democrats in Congress are as guilty as the Republicans for the failures of the political administration of President George W. Bush. President George W. Bush Forget the political campaign promises of Senators Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, because they are only bragging that they will bring the American Troops home from Iraq within a year. Only General David Petraeus, commander of US forces in Iraq, can tell how and when to withdraw American Troops from Iraq and not the smooth talking Senator Barack Obama or the tough...

Give It To Hillary Clinton!

Image
Give it To Hillary Clinnton Today is my birthday and my birthday wish is, you should join me to support Hillary Clinton for President. I am very glad and grateful to God for giving me the grace to be one of the HillRaisers supporting Hillary Clinton for President. You must be faithful to what you believe in, based on justice, love, peace and unity. For better or for worse. If you do not give up, you will get to the top. Hillary Clinton may not be a saint or an angel, but she is a caring and loving wife, mother and leader. Give her the chance to do her best for America, for the common good of humanity. I believe in accepting or rejecting people on their own terms and not judging anyone by what others related to them have done to me or others. What matters most in true democracy is the liberty of the conscience. Everyone must be given the chance to make a choice to vote and be voted for . May I share the following message from Hillary Clinton and I ask you to donate in support of her ca...

EST THE PRESIDENT: Madam Speaker, Vice President Cheney, members of Congress, distinguished guests, and fellow citizens: Seven years have passed since I first stood before you at this rostrum. In that time, our country has been tested in ways none of us could have imagined. We faced hard decisions about peace and war, rising competition in the world economy, and the health and welfare of our citizens. These issues call for vigorous debate, and I think it's fair to say we've answered the call. Yet history will record that amid our differences, we acted with purpose. And together, we showed the world the power and resilience of American self-government. All of us were sent to Wash...
