Hillary Clinton Should Not Give Up

Image
Wow! Senator Barack Obama's spectacular primary victories in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia have confirmed that he is the New Face of American Democracy. I cannot deny the fact that the best case scenario for the Democratic Party, is having Senator Barack Obama as the presidential nominee. I am disappointed that Senator Hillary Clinton is behaving like a bad loser. She would be more regarded if she could swallow her pride and congratulate Senator Barack Obama. The tides of these interesting times favour Barack Obama. I am still supporting Hillary Clinton for President. For better or worse, do not give up hope. I know that Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton is scared after Senator Barack Obama's clean sweep of the Potomac primaries . As one of her HillRaisers, I am worried, because none of us expected the latest results. If Hillary Clinton wins the nomination, it would be a miracle. As I said on the Huffington Post that if Hillary Clinton will not give up, I will c...

McCain Must Convince Skeptical Conservatives By Deeds, Not Words

8 Feb 2008 00:41 Africa/Lagos Viguerie: Rhetoric Won't Do It McCain must convince skeptical conservatives by deeds, not words... and 'twere well it were done quickly MANASSAS, Va., Feb. 7 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- A good conservative speech, no matter how stirring, will not solve the problems that grassroots conservatives have with John McCain, Richard A. Viguerie said today. Viguerie made his comments in response to John McCain's address today at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington, D.C. Prior to McCain's speech, various news reports suggested that the speech gave the Arizona senator a chance to make amends with conservatives and bring them on board his bandwagon. "Rhetoric isn't enough," Viguerie said. "To get the enthusiastic support of conservatives - support he must have, to win - Senator McCain must make his case with deeds, not just words." That's not just because of John McCain's recent record on imp...

Did Barack Obama Write 419 Letters for Antoin Rezko?

Antoin Rezko, indicted political godfather of Senator Barack Obama If you look closely, it's plain: Rezko is Obama's problem Up until now, politics has been so easy for Obama, with his opponents either exploding or imploding, as he ran for the Senate in Illinois. He didn't even have to run. Instead, he sauntered easily into Washington and then after just one speech at the 2004 convention he became the Democratic savior/rock star. Chicago Tribune US Senator Barack Obama I have read most of the reports on this Antoin Rezko Case and I have one question. Did American Senator Barack Obama write 419 letters to city and state officials to solicit for funds for Antoin Rezko to the tune of $14 million from taxpayers to build apartments? Americans are quick to slam Nigerians as Internet scammers and many other criminal activities online and offline, but there are more American fraudsters on earth than Nigerians. The alarming monthly crimes in the state of New York alone are more than...

How To Overthrow The Government

Image
Arianna Huffington How To Overthrow The Government What is a hero without love for mankind. ~ Doris Lessing Amazon.com "Our government is no longer serving us," declares Arianna Huffington in How to Overthrow the Government. "[It] is slow, unfair, corrupt, and peopled by politicians living on graft and sinecure." While the political class gloats about unprecedented prosperity, Americans are more turned off by their rulers than ever before: the public holds deeply cynical views about Washington, voter turnout continues to drop, and "modern campaigns ... are so thoroughly dominated by pollsters and consultants that there's no oxygen left for ideas that might challenge the status quo." Politicians have turned a blind eye to America's real problems. "Glad-handing lobbyists" (there are roughly 38 per member of Congress, says Huffington) and "the seductive allure of incumbency" have made lawmakers resistant to necessary reforms. ...
