Black Sistas Wedding Blues in America

Image
Dear Single Black Sistas, You Have To Settle For Mr. Available The collapse of marriage among blacks is well documented (see chart), but not the sexual, psychological, emotional and social toll this has taken on black women. Seven out of ten are single. Of the others, many are forced into “man-sharing” . ~ From Unmarried black women, Down or out : A black male professor kicks up a storm about black women and marriage. According to his new book Is Marriage for White People? How the African-American Marriage Decline Affects Everyone , Ralph Richard Banks, the Stanford professor of family law says the crisis in the black “relationship market” starts with a “man shortage”. About one in ten black men in their early thirties are in prison. As a group, black men have also fallen behind in education and income, just as black women have surged ahead. Two black women graduate from college for every black man. As these women rise into the middle class, the men stay in the lower class, becoming le...

Photo Credit: Global Express Airways 4 Most Annoying Things to Airline Travelers CHICAGO, June 1, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The DDB Life Style Study® asked Americans what was the worst experience to have on an airplane: 1. Sitting next to a boring person who won't stop talking. 2. Sitting next to a crying baby. 3. Sitting next to an obese person. 4. Sitting next to somebody with strong body odor. Across gender, age and parenthood status, sitting next to somebody with strong body odor was considered the worst among the four choices by 64% of people. The unpleasantness of sitting next to a crying baby pales in comparison, with only 23% of people citing this as the worst. Apparently, boring people can keep talking because only 8% of people found this the worst, and only 6% of people claimed sitting next to an obese person as the worst. "Considering there are several movements currently taking place to create family-only sections of aircrafts, we were surprised to find that crying babi...

The Day Barack Obama Made History: A Video Documentary

The Day Barack Obama Made History: My Candid Opinion

I had no right to vote for Senator Barack Obama, but I have the right to congratulate him on his historic election as the next President of the United States of America on November 4, 2008. Senator Barack Obama has become the first ever African American to be elected as the President of the United States of America. His epic achievement means a lot to African Americans and all people of color and millions of humans who have been seen as minorities or less privileged, who are now inspired to follow in his giant strides to greater heights in the world. I was one of the conservative pundits who thought that Barack Obama would not be able to defeat John McCain in the presidential election, but he has proved us wrong and many factors were responsible for his historic victory last Tuesday. I blame the inefficiencies and inadequacies of the John McCain presidential campaign strategists. Their old fashioned political tactics were out of sync with the new wave social pop culture of the new ge...

Re: Obama's Struggle With Typical Liberal Hypocrisy

This is my comment on John Ridley 's Obama's Struggle With Typical Liberal Hypocrisy Political hypocrisy plagues American democracy. Barack Obama cannot please everybody. If Obama fails to win the nomination and the presidential election, the so-called American Liberals will be the Judas of his betrayal. What has made Barack Obama so successful so far is not his animated amplification of the politiical sound bites of his political spin doctors, but the big budget of his sponsors who used their mainstream media and proxies in the social network sites to launch their vicious campaign of calumny against the Clintons and maligned them so badly that they have done more harm than good to the Democratic Party in the long run of the presidential campaign. If the Clintons and their millions of supporters turn against Barack Obama and his sponsors in the presidential election, do not blame the Clintons. Most of those endorsing Barack Obama are doing so to spite the Clintons and have not ...

Barack Obama Exposed 2

OBAMA'S LIMO SEX & DRUG PARTY By larrysinclair0926 Mr. Obama has continued to lie about his past in regards to his use and sale of drugs and his sex with a gay male in 1999. Views: 549,086 Barack Obama's Stole Content From Jesse Jackson's Website By mmille732003 . I feel sad rather than offended that Barack Obama did not show up at the State of the Black Union Address. I am happy that Hillary did, votes or no votes. It shows the continuing respect that Hillary Clinton has for the African-American community. Barack Obama is so busy to meet with the people who are voting their hearts out for him. Jesse Jackson would not have behaved in such fashion. African Americans need to examine Barack closely and I fear that is one of the reasons that he is not keen to get too close to blacks because they will discover some truths and realise 'that all that glitters is not gold' where Barack is concerned. African-Americans, and it seems like the whole of America is seeing Ba...
