Your observation of the human rights abuses in South Korea are surprising to us in Nigeria, because we thought South Korea is a more civilized country compared to communist North Korea and other Machiavellian governments in the world. We are disappointed by the maltreatment of human rights activists in Jeju-do and other parts of South Korea. The "Island of the Gods” is the island of peacemakers and not a base for warmongers. It has been reported that the naval base is estimated to cost 958.7 billion won, a civilian-military port complex that could simultaneously dock about 20 warships, including Aegis warships, and two 150,000- ton cruise ships.
