NIGERIA DONATES $1 MILLION TO AMERICA FOR KATRINA
CHARITY IS OUR FIRST DUTY. AN AMERICAN OFFICER GIVES RELIEF TO SURVIVORS OF THE CATASTROPHIC HURRICANE KATRINA IN NEW ORLEANS.
Nigeria has donated $1,000,000 (one million dollars) to support the emergency relief efforts to help the survivors of the catastrophic hurricane Katrina in the Gulf Coast.
We commend the humanitarian efforts of Nigeria and all the other countries in the world to comfort the bereaved victims of the horrific hurricane Katrina. And we want Nigeria to do more. Because, Nigeria can give more than $1 million. We can even supply free gas to the US. No amount of Aid is too much in charity.
PRESIDENT OLUSEGUN OBASANJO OF NIGERIA HAND IN HAND WITH PRESIDENT GEORGE W.BUSH OF AMERICA.
Nigerian Times was the first on line current affairs news blog that asked the rest of the world to come to the Aid of America at the very beginning of the emergency in the Gulf Coast. Because, we knew that the collateral damages of hurricane Katrina would be too much for Americans to bear alone.

Would you know if the US embassy has any plans to assist Nigerians affected by the storm. Prof Niyi Osundare in Alabama had a close shave you know?
You may also want to visit Grandiose Parlor (on blogger) and Nairaland on what other Nigerians saying about Katrina.
Where is the link to your story?
Thanks.
CNN just mentioned it and I confirmed it from my own sources.
