Did Barack Obama Write 419 Letters for Antoin Rezko?

Antoin Rezko, indicted political godfather of Senator Barack Obama

If you look closely, it's plain: Rezko is Obama's problem

Up until now, politics has been so easy for Obama, with his opponents either exploding or imploding, as he ran for the Senate in Illinois. He didn't even have to run. Instead, he sauntered easily into Washington and then after just one speech at the 2004 convention he became the Democratic savior/rock star.

Chicago Tribune

US Senator Barack Obama

I have read most of the reports on this Antoin Rezko Case and I have one question.

Did American Senator Barack Obama write 419 letters to city and state officials to solicit for funds for Antoin Rezko to the tune of $14 million from taxpayers to build apartments?

Americans are quick to slam Nigerians as Internet scammers and many other criminal activities online and offline, but there are more American fraudsters on earth than Nigerians. The alarming monthly crimes in the state of New York alone are more than the crimes in the whole of Nigeria monthly.

Whether American 419 is different from Nigerian 419, 419 is 419 and it a crime.
Both the criminals and beneficiaries are equally guilty of the crime.
Senator Barack Obama was one of the major beneficiaries of Antoin Rezko.

If Senator Barack Obama aided and abetted Antoin Rezko, directly or indirectly, he should be summoned to the witness box in the trial of Antoin Rezko.

Ignorantia juris non excusat or Ignorantia legis neminem excusat:

ignorance of the law excuses no one is a public policy holding that a person who is unaware of a law may not escape liability for violating that law merely because he or she was unaware of its content; that is, persons have presumed knowledge of the law.

Barack Obama cannot deny his complicity.

1. "Barack Obama cannot deny his complicity.": Complicity in what?! In order for there to be complicity, first there has to be a crime. Clearly there was poor judgement on the part of Barack Obama, but is that a crime? The current U.S. regime went to war with Iraq with no evidence, but that does not entitle the "Nigerian Times" to make accusations of a U.S. Senator without proof.

2. "Senator Barack Obama was one of the major beneficiaries of Antoin Rezko." You neglect to mention that the current President Bush was the beneficiary of a 'multi-million' fund-raiser co-chaired by Rezko. Rezko is a politically practical opportunist who will fan which ever fire warms him the most.

"The current U.S. regime went to war with Iraq with no evidence,"

They went to war with the same evidence that the Clinton administration and the international intelligence community (as well as Saddam, himself) supplied to us.

That, and the thing that was authorized by congress to give Bush the go-ahead was the 1998 Iraqi Liberation Act.

Signed into law by Clinton, with Pelosi and Reid's strong support.

As for whom Rezko supported, funding-wise, you also need to list Gore and Kerry.

As well as:

Barbara Boxer
Jesse Jr.
Bobby Rush
Luis Gutierrez
Laurie Beth Gash
DICK Durbin
Bobby Steele
Alcie Palmer

He hedges his bets on the presidential level, but leans left nearly everywhere else.

Now, unless someone can find these 419 letters, I'll give Obama a break, but you need to get your facts straight.

The letters of solicitation Senator Barack Obama wrote for Antoin Rezko and associates are public knowledge and you can find them online.

God bless.
