Make Videos Even From 30 Feet Away Without Touching Your Camera

Videos On The Go
Make a video without touching your phone. EmoFix is with you on any adventure.

The button wakes up the EmoFix so that you can pair it with your iOS or Android device. A blue LED above the button will flash when the device is “awake” and ready for use. A replaceable 200 mAh CR2032 coin cell battery powers the EmoFix for up to 2 years when used up to 30 times a day. When paired with an Android device it will automatically turn off after 90 seconds of inactivity. With iOS devices it turns off after 60 minutes.

The EmoFix is water resistant, has a 30 ft range and can be paired with up to 7 other devices. However only one device can be paired at any given time. The nice thing is that no external apps are required to use this selfie remote. Just pair it with your iOS or Android device, launch the camera app and you’re done. A press of the EmoFix button will snap a picture when you’re in image capture mode and is supposed to toggle video recording when you’re in movie mode. I tested the EmoFix with a Nexus 6, LG G3 and a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, all using their built in camera apps. Other than having to press the button once to wake it up if it had timed out, the EmoFix worked fine as a remote shutter button for all three devices. I had a different experience using it for video capture though. It worked well with the Nexus 6 and would toggle video capture on and off when the button was pressed. On the LG G3, it would do nothing in video recording mode and on the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, it would stop video recording but subsequent presses would snap pictures instead of starting a new video.

The EmoFix works fine as a remote shutter button for taking selfies, groupies and other shots where you need to locate the phone/device somewhere other than your own hand. But for video control, the EmoFix didn’t work well at all. The button also exhibits strange behavior when pressed outside of the camera app.

If You Loved "American Beauty", Then You Will Fall in Love with "My American Mistress"

If you loved Sam Mendes'multiple academy awards winning film American Beauty, then you will fall in love with Orikinla Osinachi's "My American Mistress", about a melodramatic relationship between a very wealthy white older woman and a younger African immigrant in New York who is a struggling artist and poet.

He wants to be the black Picasso of the 21st century and like Picasso, he also sees women as "goddesses and doormats" and she is going to be his goddess no matter what her snobbish racist white upper class says. She sponsors his first solo art exhibition and his first book launch and with fame and fortune he becomes the toast of America and the heartthrob of younger women who are falling over themselves to pose naked for him and the pregnancy of one of them is going to break the heart of his mistress.
"I thought you would be more faithful to me than my ex-husband. But you have turned out to be worse. He never stooped so low to prefer the doormats to his goddesses. You have brains, but no class," she sneered at him.

Julia Roberts, Meryl Streep, Cate Blanchett and Nicole Kidman are all good for the role of the leading lady.

The release date will be announced later.

Questions and Answers On How the European Commission Helps Refugees

BRUSSELS, 19 June 2015 / PRN Africa / -- Who is a refugee?

Every year natural disasters, conflicts and human rights violations force millions of people to leave their homes and to flee to save their lives. Their survival often depends on international assistance and protection.

A refugee is someone who has been forced to flee his or her home country and is unable or unwilling to return because of fear of persecution. 2015 Presidential Election Campaign Photographs That Changed Muhammadu Buhari

These presidential election campaign photographs changed the public image of President Muhammadu Buhari from the previous images of cold and stern looking personality to a family friendly father, grand father and more tolerant public friendly political leader.

These photographs of Buhari and grandson and grand daughter boosted his public relations and endeared him to the younger population.
They have been inspired by President Barack Obama's interactions with children.
These photographs showed us that the retired General Muhammadu Buhari is now indeed a born again political leader from the former military dictator to a true democratic leader who should inspire millions of Nigerians in the fulfillment of the Nigerian Dream of a New Nigeria.

As the lyrics from "The Greatest Love of All" speak volumes for the expectations of Nigerian children who are indeed searching for a hero; someone to look up to after thousands of them have been traumatized by the nightmares of the horrors of the bloody Boko Haram terrorists in the middle belt and northern regions of Nigeria. And we hope President Muhammadu Buhari will not disappoint them.

"Greatest Love Of All"

I believe the children are our future
Teach them well and let them lead the way
Show them all the beauty they possess inside
Give them a sense of pride to make it easier
Let the children's laughter remind us how we used to be

Everybody's searching for a hero
People need someone to look up to.

PS: "The Greatest Love of All" is a song written by Michael Masser and Linda Creed and originally recorded by George Benson for the 1977 Muhammad Ali biopic The Greatest.

Video of Inaugural Speech by His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari

Inaugural speech by His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari following his swearing-in as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on 29th May, 2015, at the Eagles Square, Abuja.

I am immensely grateful to God Who Has preserved us to witness this day and this occasion. Today marks a triumph for Nigeria and an occasion to celebrate her freedom and cherish her democracy. Nigerians have shown their commitment to democracy and are determined to entrench its culture. Our journey has not been easy but thanks to the determination of our people and strong support from friends abroad we have today a truly democratically elected government in place.

I would like to thank President Goodluck Jonathan for his display of statesmanship in setting a precedent for us that has now made our people proud to be Nigerians wherever they are. With the support and cooperation he has given to the transition process, he has made it possible for us to show the world that despite the perceived tension in the land we can be a united people capable of doing what is right for our nation. Together we co-operated to surprise the world that had come to expect only the worst from Nigeria. I hope this act of graciously accepting defeat by the outgoing President will become the standard of political conduct in the country.

I would like to thank the millions of our supporters who believed in us even when the cause seemed hopeless. I salute their resolve in waiting long hours in rain and hot sunshine to register and cast their votes and stay all night if necessary to protect and ensure their votes count and were counted. I thank those who tirelessly carried the campaign on the social media. At the same time, I thank our other countrymen and women who did not vote for us but contributed to make our democratic culture truly competitive, strong and definitive.

Mike Tyson To Star in New Kung Fu Movie 'Ip Man 3' To Fight With Donnie Yen

Mike Tyson Joins 'Ip Man 3' To Fight With Donnie Yen

SHANGHAI, May 8, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson, invited by famous Chinese producer and entrepreneur Shi Jianxiang, officially joined the cast of Ip Man 3 on a press conference in Shanghai on May 6, 2015. The $36 million Kung Fu biopic reunites the team that made the first two movies, and is executive-produced by Shi, founder and CEO of Shanghai Kuailu Investment Group.

Martial artist Donnie Yen, who will reprise his role as Ip Man in the third installment, exchanged gifts with Tyson on Wednesday's press conference. Tyson gave a boxing glove to Yen, who in return gave a set of mook jongs, or wooden dummies used in martial arts training. Executive producer Shi also sent a sword to Tyson, wishing him a thriving film career in China.

According to Shi, Tyson decided to come aboard right after a conversation with him on a Chinese Kong Fu movie earlier this year, when Shi was invited to Los Angeles for the Oscars and investment opportunities with Paramount Pictures. Tyson said he's a big fan of Ip Man and has watched the first two movies more than three times each.

"I liked reading martial arts novels when I was a little child, and have been fascinated with Kong Fu since then," said Shi. "I think of myself as macho, generous and bold, just like those novel characters. After talking with Tyson, I also found him warm and loyal to friends. That's why we swore to be brothers."

Ip Man (1893-1972) was a Chinese martial artist who popularized the practice of Wing Chun, a discipline specialized in close-range combat. One of his most famous pupils was Bruce Lee, who later developed his own discipline, Jeet Kune Do. Ip Man 3 focuses on the master-student relationship between Ip Man and Bruce Lee. But in the opinion of Shi, the movie is not just a story.

"The movie also conveys the spirit of emotion and justice," said Shi. "This year marks the 70th anniversary of World War II, and the 110th of the founding of the Chinese film industry. I feel like I'm not only publishing a movie, but carrying forward the Chinese spirit as well."

Tyson is set to have a significant role in Ip Man 3, playing a property developer who also happens to be a street fighter. He's going to have some intense fighting scenes with Donnie Yen. Shi hopes that the introduction of Tyson can further facilitate the cultural exchange between China and U.S., especially in the film industry.

"I always have a dream about Chinese movies," said Shi. "Chinese culture can provide such great raw ingredients, but we lack techniques and professionalism of production. By learning from the Hollywood, we can play a greater role on the world stage and make our voices heard."

Shi said as China's movies industry continuing to soar, it has drawn continued investment and more attention from overseas stars. In 2012, the Asian superpower overtook Japan to become the second largest film market worldwide, closing fast on the international movie giant the U.S. China's box office grew 37% over the past year to $4.8 billion. Every day in China, 15 new cinema screens are added to the country's huge collection of 25,000.

In this favorable environment, the previous Ip Man series produced by Pegasus Films chief Raymond Wong grossed $37 million worldwide, and created a sensation for a while among the audience. Shi is therefore optimistic about the box office prospects of Ip Man 3, which is tentatively scheduled for release in 3D in the first quarter of 2016.

We Are Ready To Handover - Rivers State Governor Chibuike Amaechi

We are ready for handover – Amaechi

Rivers State Governor Chibuike Amaechi, has expressed the readiness of his Administration to handover on May 29. Amaechi who dismissed rumours he would not be handing over the reign of governance on the date, wondered what he would be doing in office after May 29. The Rivers state Governor averred that the entire cabinet has made ready their notes preparatory to the terminal date of his regime.

“We are ready for handover unlike the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, at the centre that is busy making new appointments and sacking people. They have refused to brief the Muhammadu Buhari Transition Team and All Progressives Congress, APC, is not screaming blue murder. Rather, the APC at the centre is meeting and planning and preparing for government”.

Painting an ugly scenario in Rivers State, Gov. Amaechi stated that rather than support democracy, PDP has been busy doctoring election results and Voter Register.

“Unfortunately in Rivers State, the PDP is busy doctoring election results, doctoring Voter Register as to cover their stolen mandate, and crying wolf to cover their mischief”.

Amaechi who spoke through the Rivers State Commissioner of Information and Communications, Ibim Semenitari, added that whoever would take over from him has no reason to panic.

In a statement in Port Harcourt on Friday, Semenitari dismissed insinuations the outgoing regime had shown no co-operation with the man the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, declared winner of the April 11 governorship election in Rivers State. While dismissing reports the outgoing Administration has been un-co-operative with the PDP, Semenitari allayed such fears saying that PDP already has everything going for it. “They stole the outcome of the April 11 election and gave no hoot; they declared their candidates winners with the criminal connivance of INEC and cared less about local, national and international opinion that what took place in Rivers state on April 11 was everything but an election. The more APC had pushed for electoral materials which are statutory demands of an electoral litigation, the farther PDP and INEC had kept it, and seemingly, they have had their way. So, they have all going for them. They have nothing to worry about. If and when Mr. Ezebuwon Nyesom Wike, will be sworn in, the issue of handover notes and other statutory briefings should not be any worry to him. Already Wike has as part of his transition team the State Deputy Governor, Engr. Tele Renner Ikuru, who is ViceChairman of the Rivers Stare Executive Council, and who is abreast of all projects and Programmes of the current administration, having chaired many sensitive state government committees as well as state cabinet meetings”, Semenitari said.

“After all, PDP has constituted Inauguration and Transition Committees, respectively”.

The Information and Communications Commissioner who insisted PDP stole the mandate it is parading, reasoned that with the pair of Ikuru and Wike, PDP should have no difficulty with any briefings that they might need from the current administration. She advised PDP to learn from APC which has not raised any hairs despite what are deliberate steps at the centre to provoke the party. “Governor Amaechi has not made any new appointment as he knows he is leaving office, unlike what PDP is doing at the centre. They are busy sacking and making appointments, functions that should be entirely left for the incoming Administration. Provocative as it is, APC has rather, concerned itself with continued preparations to give Nigerians good governance. APC has refused to dance to PDP’s evil drumbeats, choosing to show maturity.

“Let PDP in Rivers state leave Governor Amaechi alone. He is a busy man and did not contest any elections. Governor Amaechi is known for committing his all into any worthy assignment or duty he is called to do. Having governed Rivers State for close to eight years, Amaechi cannot be happier that history and posterity will judge him fairly. A fact a million PDPs cannot obliterate”.
