Amazon.com Is Selling More E-books Than Other Books

Yes. Amazon.com is now selling more e-books than paperback and hardbound combined.

When you are releasing your new books, make sure you also release the electronic downloads as well. Versions of books in Kindle have sold more than the titles in print.

The Nigerian Fools Who Think They Can Fool God by Michael Chima Ekenyerengozi is one of the most demanded book on Nigeria.

Dozens, hundreds----I’m certain.

~ Sven Birkerts, from SNAPSHOTS FROM THE BRIDGE, an essay on contemporary writers in post modern American Literature.

Meanwhile, the proportion of readers in the United States seems to have grown and I find it always a pleasure to see on the New York City subways ethnically diverse young people reading good books. There is no reason to worry about the future of books in the United States.
~ Jason Epstein.
