A terrorist bomb attack at the St. Theresa's Catholic Church, Madalla in Niger State killed about 19 Christian worshipers and injured several others Sunday morning of Christmas Day.

Over 81 people were killed on Christmas Eve when the Boko Haram Islamic terrorists clashed with Nigerian soldiers and police officers in Damaturu, Yobe State. Other terrorist attacks have been reported from Potiskum, a Local Government Area in Yobe State and Maiduguri in Borno State.

Islamic terrorists in the volatile northern regions warned of attacking churches on Christmas Day.
